this debunks The State of AAA imho. 6-year Cycles and Huge Teams are bs.

imho the unwritten story about the State of AAA is that the employees are basically parasites who Destroy the host with all of their BS. 90s-00s devs were constantly on the brink of bankruptcy so no one could pull any BS. Also, they were all Nerds. Well-capitalized studios with Huge Teams are filled with sinecures and Fake Jobs that sabotage the company's ability to make Games. JMO, YMMV.
