I used to date a chick who had around ~50k followers and was able to make pretty good money doing it for awhile. When the brand deals and sponsorships slowed down to a trickle, though, she wouldn’t go out and look for a normal job and was essentially flat broke. The small dose of social media relevance made her the most delusional person in the world as well, even more so than your typical whore. She always believed she was one viral post, one brand deal etc. away from being relevant again.
Not that it needs to be said, but I don’t recommend a serious relationship with a woman whose job is ”social media” in any form.
