The bread touches the oven and cooks at a different rate than the sauce, versus the cheese which faces the heat element and needs to melt (rather than crisp up).
With that said, it's fine and you can actually get a decent vacuum sealed frozen neopolitan pizza from Roberta's or Table 87. You'll pay for it, but it's better than digiorno or whatever. |
