There's a big segment of the Persian diaspora that loves to pretend they are the Pure Aryans to maek themselves FRENS with Birdshit trash. I found it hilarous when I realized north Indians have more Steppe DNA than furking Iranians. Persians are like Filipinos saying "hello sir I am 50% Spanish sir!"

👉 The **Steppe (Indo-European) migrations hit South Asia harder than Iran**

---

# 📍 1. Geography matters

The Steppe peoples (Yamnaya/Andronovo-type groups) came from north of the Caspian.

To reach South Asia, they moved:

* Through **Central Asia → Afghanistan → into India**

Iran was:

* **Off to the side**, not the main route

👉 So:

* India = **main destination / expansion zone**

* Iran = **partially bypassed**

---

# ⚔️ 2. Population replacement vs absorption

### In South Asia:

* Steppe migrants were often **elite males**

* Mixed with local populations

* Spread language + genes widely

👉 Result:

* Noticeable Steppe ancestry (especially in North Indians)

---

### In Iran:

* There were already **dense, established populations**

* Steppe groups:

* Arrived in smaller numbers

* Got **absorbed**, not dominant

👉 Result:

* Lower Steppe % overall

---

# 🧬 3. Iran already had similar ancestry

Iranian populations already had:

* “Iranian farmer” ancestry

* Some genetic similarity to Steppe groups

👉 So when Steppe people mixed in:

* It didn’t change the genetic profile as dramatically

---

# 🏛️ 4. Language ≠ large genetic replacement

Even though:

* Indo-Iranian languages spread to both regions

👉 Language spread doesn’t require huge population replacement

* Iran adopted Indo-Iranian languages with:

* **less Steppe DNA**

* India got:

* **more Steppe DNA**

---

# 📊 Rough comparison

| Region | Steppe ancestry |

| ----------- | --------------- |

| North India | ~15–25% |

| Iran | ~5–15% |

---

# 🧠 Simple analogy

Think of it like:

* India = **main wave hits hard** 🌊

* Iran = **edge of the wave** 🌊

---

# 🏁 Bottom line

👉 Iranians have less Steppe because:

* They weren’t the main target of the migration

* They already had large populations

* Steppe groups were absorbed, not dominant

👉 So:

* Same language family

* Different genetic impact

---

If you want, I can explain why **some Indian groups (like Brahmins) have even higher Steppe than others** — that part connects directly to this.
