There was this kid that had a speaker and the Armageddon instrumental soundtrack. The song that plays like in the background like the theme like when the president was speaking telling everyone they’re going on a mission and that it’ll all be ok. That song.
He would blast it in the cafeteria as she walked in implying she’s the size of an asteroid. The monitors would all shake their heads and giggle. I was a sports bro so I would just not pay attention bc I thought it was fucked up. The girls would be appalled. The loser nerd scumbag guys would all laugh. Sometimes The main guy would scream out “someone’s gotta climb on top and drill the asteroid!”
I was hoping for a happy ending and looked her up the other day. She looks the same. Still fat but her face didn’t really age which is good I guess. She’s like a receptionist at a Honda lol. |

He say it's a madhouse. You can't punish the kids ever so they get embolden and they push the boundaries. The admin just tell the teachers to put up with disruption and do what the kids say. A lot of it stems from the No Child Left Behind Act which says you have to pass kids even if they haven't learned anything. I think that the difference may be that when I was coming up, even my fairly shitty school had a critical mass of smart kids, good kids, and perfectly OK kids before you got to the also critical mass of malevolent prole hellspawn.
I just went back and looked at the demographics and state test scores from my high school and they are SHOCKINGLY terrible compared to when I was there, even if it was a little rough sometimes way back then. One of the more recent news stories that popped up when I was googling it involved a fatal stabbing that was live streamed.
Basically, there’s not a single family that looks like mine did that would still go there. The whole nation is even more economically and socially segregated than it was. Everyone who could leave, did. Every single one of the “good kids” I grew up with that I keep up with are economic migrants who moved at least two counties away. Most left the state like I did. |
