What are some sayings or bits of 'wisdom' which are actually total nonsense?

eg, "the master's house can't be torn down with the master's tools." superficially clever, but utterly wrong from every angle. tools and methods are generalist systems. they can be used for or against the same objects or systems with ease. the goal of most revolutions is in fact to take over the systems/tools and redirect them to new ends.
there is really no level at which this 'wisdom' is true. even if you take it metaphysically as something like "you can't reform a system from within the system; the entire system has to change," that's also false. systems get taken over the changed 'from within' all the fucking time.
a classic example would be Louis XIV becoming POTUS of france. he started out within the system and ended within the system, but he also completely changed the system and its nature over time, entirely using the 'master's tools.'
that is, in fact, a more successful approach in most cases than aiming for some kind of year zero nonsense.

the very notion of 'wisdom' itself
wisdom is basically just old people regretting their terminal life choices and subconsciously wanting to schadenfreude the youth by goading them to the make the same mistakes as them under the guise of earnest advice tp

Actually retardmaxxing and just doing things without thinking too much is far more likely to lead to success than being a neurotic fag

out of sight, out of mind vs absence makes the heart grow fonder
birds of a feather, flock together vs opposites attract
if you really love something let it go and if it's meant to be it'll come back to you
