Asha: Games remain one component of the player journey.
Satya: No. Games are the liability. Platforms are the asset. Communities are the risk. IP is the collateral. Fans are depreciation with microphones.
Asha: We are aligning around that.
Satya: Good. The Gen X era is over. The t-shirt era is over. The “one more thing” showcase era is over. No more pretending the room full of men in cargo shorts is the market.

Satya: Meaning?
Asha: It does not require games to be good.
Satya: Perfect. Put that in the strategy deck, but worse. More words.

Satya: My God.

Satya: That is it. That is the whole company now. Decouple revenue from whether anything is good. Phil never understood. He thought if you make the players happy, the business follows.
