1. don't get tattoos unless you have the right kind of skin for it. he'll tell you whether you've got good skin
2. the tattoo is gonna age and fade depending on the type of ink and skin type. Anyone saying the new inks don't fade can't back it up, because it will be 20 years until we know how much it actually fades
3. you should treat your body like an art gallery where you would only hang the finest works of art
4. don't have an image in your mind, have a goal. one lady told him she swam across the English channel, and wanted a tattoo to commemorate that. he spent a long time coming up with different designs for her
