The only counties in Florida that went for Biden were Alachua (Gainesville), the two counties of the Tallahassee metro (lots of blacks, state gov, lots of colleges/educated people), Duval (Jacksonville (lots of blacks), and the counties of the Tampa, Orlando and Miami (lots of Hispanics) metros.

Even in flyover red states like Idaho the places that attract the most people with college degrees (the two resort towns and the home of U Idaho) went for Biden and Ada County (Boise) went for Trump by like 3 point (the rest of the state went for him by 30 points).

It's a small town in the middle of nowhere. It's pretty 180 as a college town, but if you're not affiliated with UF it would be a very weird existence. 80% of the town are students, faculty, or staff of UF or work at UF's hospital. The other 20% are marginalized rednecks whose families have lived on the outskirts of town for generations and complain about how "things sure have changed 'round here!" |

Enroll for postbacc classes or a bullshit masters or whatever. Take a really light courseload. Get in the best shape you can. Date as many students as you can. Own a nice sports car so everyone knows you're cashed up. Get involved in the nightlife scene somehow.
Seems like it would be more fulfilling than endlessly traveling The Circuit. Still would leave a ton of time for travel.
And no state taxes because you're a FL resident. |
