I use a 150" screen I bought for $20 on amazon in my finshed basement. It's like I'm watching TV on a movie screen.

I'm surprised more people don't use these.

I also use it to watch goyslop while i'm in my hot tub. I hang a small screen on the side of my hot tub cover.

Sometimes I'll use it in my room and shine it on the ceiling, so I can lay flat on my bed and watch some shit as I fall asleep.

I connect it to my Bose bluetooth speaker and it has great sound.

tcr. But the question is whether it is even native 1080p or if it is really 720p.

It's completely fine in a dark room. There are some spendy screens that I'm too cheap to buy that really bring out the brightness

I have a Sony 4k projector with a projector screen, built in speakers, etc. Absolutely awesome and has a certain je ne sais quoi that even large OLED screens don't have.

i totally get it. i had an old panasonic 720p that i adored. changed to a qled (i think? it's not oled because i'm right next to a window) and it's fine. but like you said projectors often have the je ne sais quoi

unless u have a dedicated home theater room (itself prole) having an oafish screen that dominates an otherwise normal general-use living room is aesthetically prolifying. big screen can be fun on a rare occasion but not worth bearing that scarlet letter.
