stops the creation of families (ie the future of society), ends the long term goal of having your own place which makes society less long term focused.

i guess its bad if there is a large number of people who want to buy homes but they cant because they all cost 234234234times more than they will make in their lives and 4234234 more than they were 20 years ago

counterpoint: Jews and Boomers need to be able to sell their $55k home for $725k or else the economy is crash and the world will end.

home ownership means u have a stake in society making u a responsible citizen and a participant of the American Dream - take that away with corrupt politicians and exorbitant interest rates from a defunct Fed and u have a low trust society run by gangsters and private equity

Housing costs too much in western countries imo. In the Far East it’s basically free imo

Market inventory is low like in a seller's market but that's mostly because people don't want to give up historically low interest rates they locked in. Small inventory with houses still sitting on the market for longer than normal.

I think we just bought a house btw.

US govt gave trillions to homeowners and they dont want to give it up.

Thankfully, the US govt learned from its mistake and will not give out trillions to those who lack home ownership.
