I'm going to Churchill Downs already. I might fly to cvg and rent a car, but otherwise assume no car and just activities in the city.

I've never been to this part of the country. I'm flying to Cincinnati and driving. Alternative was a layover in Atlanta. No direct flights from Seattle. On the way home I can do a weekend in Cincinnati and see a reds game (one of the few stadiums I haven't seen) or drive to Nashville and fly home from there. For the most part I plan and keeping my wife tied up in bed.

I'm flying to cvg, renting a car and driving to Louisville. My wife is nuts and thinks limiting the number of flights reduces stress on her new tits. Don't argue this. So we will have a car but I don't really want or need it.

For Louisville, I would stay somewhere in Clarksville, Indiana.

Look for a hotel in Clarksville. Make sure it’s the right Clarksville though. There’s a Clarksville, Tennessee but that’s hundreds of miles away.

Cincinnati has some cool architecture like the train station. There are a couple of gentrified blocks with the standard breweries and coffee shops. Go to a Reds game if you’re a baseball fan. Not much to do really. That part of Ohio is a nice place to raise a family if you’re conservative and Catholic but it’s not exactly hopping for tourists.

I like this. We booked three nights at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Cool old art deco building. But that means I'm giving up a car. We're doing the Reds game on Friday. I can delay the car and pay to park but I really don't want one downtown.
