Property is cheap in Japan too.

Imho, in the west, everything boils down to wanting to have a Curated experience in terms of the phenotypes that one interacts with. That’s the only explanation for the State of Real Estate. Location, location, location. Phenotype, phenotype, phenotype.

In the Far East, when everyone has the Same Phenotyoe, there’s nary a need for such foolishness.

That’s why we have the phenomenon of “gentrification” which just means “better Phenotypes are moving in and Pricing Out the Scum”

Usually URMs imo but yeah.

I just find it weird why people ignore the Extreme Phenotype Curation that’s happening. And the Clique that one was in in School says Everything. Everything else that’s going on Masks this. An extremely elaborate web of lies. If you’re Tall enough or Jewish enough, you can see through it. If you’re RSF, you’re both, so you Stop Working bc the fraud is obvious. The Low Born revel in it like pigs in mud. Me? I escape the ignominy of irl in Games, particularly Indies.

I don’t know if they ignore it so much as just LIVE it. Like they don’t intellectualize and analyze things like Losers do. It is obvious when you walk into Whole Foods that the phenotypes are on another plane from when you ill-advisedly step in to Walmart. But the Walmart people just instinctively know “this is where I belong” and roll with it. Same with the Preps at Erewhon.

It’s the embittered souls trapped in the rifts that are writing the Books and building their Backlogs.

Are Reptile revels in Compliance. Everyone is like “your phenotype sucks, we can Tell.” Imho Preps want the country to be a 1700s aristocracy. The only Bulwark are Nerds. The only phenotype transcendence is through Engineering. Losers CANNOT transcend phenotype. Nietzsche didn’t get laid.

Like I used to socialize with my city’s elite at its premier Rooftop Bars among other locales but I’m not sure if anyone has anything to express except their phenotype. Iirc this is what Psycho Mantis realized in MGS1 and is why he went insane.

I think phenotype is more important in herds. My observation is that there is considerable phenotype diversity among those who maek it big time in more solo/entrepreneurial pursuits. Academics are all over the place, too, if you consider academia as maeking it. Academics seem to hang together geographically more than almost any group, but their phenotypes are scattered. There also seems to be a carve out for the very top person even in herds. Upper middle and lower upper seem phenotype dependent, but at the top there are quite a few toads. Maybe my views are biased from being an ascended scumbag nerd who rose through engineering. Clearly I lacked the correct phenotype and its behavioral equivalent to trudge through biglaw. Thoughts?

The saliency of phenotype does occasionally break down at the far ends of the bell curve. Eery rule must be proved. Howard Dean can be senator and win some votes in primaries ... But is it merely a Reprieve? Of course eventually he'll run into a Clinton or Obama. Phenotype reasserts.

When you chose a place to live, I imagine you gave strong consideration to phenotype. Obviously there are outliers in any clique from a success and behavior standpoint.
