and actually i spent way less cause im not counting my cash still on hand and then buying a phone, if subtract that ive only spent $13,176 for year in five months |

A lot of companies want to hire someone on a contract basis, because they have a need (overflow work or someone on the team being on maternity leave or whatever) or want to try before they buy. Usually 3 - 6 month contracts for $100 - $150/hr. I briefly did a $150/hr contract with a major public company before taking a GC role, and it was pretty great |

EDIT: But you're overlooking the point. You could do this for 1 month to gross over 20k. Use that for three $5k options plays that could self-fund more options plays to get you back to $1.5 million or more. Seems to be win-win if the only cost is not wandering around ebola land for a month |
