Date: July 24th, 2026 8:30 PM Author: little ball of Hebraic rage ((zurich is stained)) shocking. i knew he was fighting cancer and that it didn't look great, but i can't believe he's dead. apart from murphys law, SOIA is the longest running hc band i can think of. and unlike ML (and most other bands that have been around decades), SOIA had the same lineup for well over 30 years. ML is jimmy gestapo and 3-4 guys who weren't even alive when ML put out their last good record. SOIA were the real deal and stayed together for a long ass time. they got to do what they loved for a living, which for a hc band is rare. im sure they didn't make too much money, but they did what they loved.
they were always an incredible band to see live. last time i saw them was 2017 and i guess that was the last too.
