I actually witnessed this once and was wondering wtf that dudes deal was. Come to find out he was a prosecutor who worked in the same courthouse and they didn’t strike him until the end of the day!! It was a brand new judge too who was a total hard ass about everything. I wasted my entire day and didn’t get dismissed until 4:30

I once tried a four-day trial in federal court and not one juror was willing to talk to me. I think it was because they sided with my client and because I was an intimidating 6'5" 350 pound giant.
