Originally went plc ground and was told I’d get to switch to plc-law once I had a law school acceptance and 150 lsat. I competed ocs top of my class in pft and academics. 300/95 Peer reviews were so so Got accepted to law school and was above 150 on lsat. Went to switch my contract, got sent up to a bunch of higher commands and generals. Ultimately declined because gov didn’t want to pay for any bit of law school. Offered a chance to go ground intel or just hack it at law school on my own and reapply once graduated. I didn’t take any fin aid but ended up with a 4.5k bill from the DoD while at law school and they garnished my tax returns until they got it. Unique scenario, but tread carefully and get as much clarity from your OSO asap."
