80 is right around the median life expectancy in the US.
It's sad because she seems like a legitimately good person and was very talented. But it's not like she died young. Just her time.

my grandfather killed a lot of Japanese men in order for me to eventually have been born. he then came home to later get hit by a car while walking his dog that left him with partial paralysis on the the right side of his body and during the medical process received a bad blood transfusion and contracted hep A. He eventually died painfully of cirrhosis at 75 like an alcoholic except he didn't even get to enjoy drinking himself to death.
that is actually sad. Dolly Parton getting to be a bimbo for decades and dying naturally at age 80 isn't.
