Some shit ghetto knew who was living the best in the ghetto and that was their benchmark. Suddenly, they all see what a bunch of "influencers" live like (half of which is total fake bs for clicks but they don't know that). Now everyone in the ghetto including the richest guy there are FURIOUS and thinking they're justified in rioting and looting shit. But this isn't limited to the ghetto. UMC kids feel the same way, even rich kids see others doing crazy shit and suddenly they don't have enough either.
It goes to dating too. Once upon a time people saw the cutest girl in their class and were just amazed with her. She was competing with like 12 other girls and she was pretty cute. Ok, then there was a level up - the cutest girl in your school of like 1k or whatever. You thought it couldn't get better than that. Now all of these girls are competing with thots across the world on the internet which is just ridiculous. |

The girls in mags don't even look like your typical girl - they had a bunch of makeup, struck poses that weren't natural, etc. And porn is that but they're also whores. The problem with social media is that they do look normal - just hotter, richer, happier, etc. And as a result you absolutely compare them to yourself, your gf, and so on.
I'll give you another comparison. You can go to a circus and see a cute teen girl that can do fucking acrobatics. I remember doing this as a teen. You don't compare them to your gf because they're traveling circus people. Hollywood was basically like that. Social media is not like that. |
