Thoughts? He cited a study about identical triplets and they were all adopted into different socioeconomic families but they ended up in the same socioeconomic class as adults doing the same type of work

Low IQ distortion of that study. Heritability =/= inevitability. Even height - it's like 80% heritable but nutrition can literally add or substract several inches.
The famous separated triplet stories are rare and publicized because they are striking. It's not statistically generalizable. They're anecdotes w/ PhDs attached.
Socioeconomic convergence is also way overstated. When people say "same class" or "same type of work" they mean that they are all white collar or all professional or UMC.
Genes basically set ranges and nurture/enviro determines where someone lands within them
