I suggest you buy a clone first and verify it's everything you thought it would be before shelling out a lot of money.
I have a clone of the daytona and I love it. I don't dive, so the bezel is useless. Even on the clone daytona, I love how it looks and feels on my wrist. Even if I get a real daytona, I think I'd wear the clone most of the time, except for actual functions. |

Hard agree on the ceramic precious metal ones though, those are clearly a cost reduction measure like the oysterflex strap.

I also think that if you're a finance bro, making really good money, nobody will question your fake rolex, assuming it's a really good fake. If you're a dominoes delivery driver in a shitbox, living in your mother's basement it's a lot harder to pull off.
On the wrist I doubt many people can tell as long as it's a good clone. |
