Date: December 27th, 2025 8:55 AM Author: bust a nut inside ur eye 2 show u where i cum from ((zurich is stained)) i know i told you about this before, but we were pulling up to Middlesex (this was may or june 94, and the lineup was Integrity, Lifetime, and I am fairly sure IDK was on that bill).
we're maybe a mile away, and this white van starts swerving toward us and making us run on the shoulder. the people in it were throwing shit out the van at us. we were like wtf is this shit. we pull into the parking lot, and Integrity gets out of the van and says "hey, what's up" and despite all the slayer-esque devil worship imagery in their music, they were nice.
Lifetime and Integrity played the next day together again at the Safari Club in dc. my friend matt interviewed Dwid (singer of Integrity) and asked whether they were on tour, because Lifetime and metalcore are so diametrically opposed - it was weird they were playing together. another member of Integrity said "well, Dwid's fucking the singer", it was pretty lol.
also, during the show, one of the guys from One Life Crew (then playing in a band called Bowel, touring with Integrity) called Rob Fish (singer of Resurrection and 108) a "fucking faggot" in between songs and the guitarist of Lifetime stood up on his merch table and started yelling "fascist! fascist!" guy is gay but a good guitarist.
also, that middlesex show was Lifetime's record release show for their 2nd 7" (the one with isae aldy beausoliel or whatever that song is). i bought one and the real covers werent out yet, so it came with a xeroxed cover (had to be 1 of maybe 300) and it had printed on it "send this in by August and get the real cover - this is NOT collectible" or something. my dumb fucking ass sent them the cover in exchange for the real one. no idea why i did that. |

i later worked with the bassist of bikini kill at the washington poast and told her that. she took it in stride. |

singer used to be cute as fuck though. so was the bass player i worked with. she is married to guy piccioto from fugazi and she asked me once if i wanted to buy his Volvo, which i found to be pretty funny. this was about 2002. |
