Johnny Cash *literally* wrote a song about doing this.

(EDIT: 2 seconds after poasting this, I googled to see if in fact cash wrote the song. Like virtually every other "johnny cash classic," he did not. I remember belting out cash songs in the car when dating my now-wife, and her being like "isn't that 9 Inch Nails?" (Hurt), "that's Depeche Mode" (Personal Jesus), "oh I love Soundgarden! but I prefer the original" (Rusty Cage), "so... he's like a cover band?" (god's gonna cut you down, etc.).)

Why did they quit RVing? Not prole enough to enjoy it?

Sometimes you’re driving and there’s construction and there’s a Concrete Barricade 4.875 inches from your fender for like 40 miles straight at 60 mph through zigzags and also it’s raining. It’s the kind of thing that makes me wonder why proles “like” it so much. Also Fatality accidents every single day that Close 2.5 Lanes for 2.5 hours.

driving made a lot of sense in the 80s and 90s and again about 8-9 years ago but its a joke now and driving places is incredibly prole. 4-500 miles and 8-10 hours is the outer limit of what even could conceivably make sense for a day's drive and even that is dramatic.
