Whatever he's driving, he now wants the Cayenne Turbo Electric

It isn't even faster than my Model X Plaid and doesn't have self-driving. And with a toddler the lack of the falcon doors would be 120. Plus I use dog mode a lot.

Porsche underrates everything, I'd bet a lot that there will be car mags that get this thing to go faster than your X.

Even if it's not faster and doesn't have self driving it'll still be more prestigious.

One day you'll see one of these in a sick paint-to-sample color and instantly know that its owner is beating you at life.

Real talk: this is already much faster than I need and me driving a 1000+ hp car is already totally batshit insane. If that guy can get to 100mph 0.2 seconds faster that's totally irrelevant.

Real talk: we're too old and content to give a fuck about prestige for the sake of prestige anymore. We have nice big houses, fancy cars, and spend time doing mundane shit like CLEs and kid stuff to worry about whether one yuppy car with 1000+hp is more or less prestigious than another.

By the way, a neighbor of mine traded in his Porsche Panamera for a Model X and raves about how much he prefers it.

"one of these in a sick paint-to-sample color"

I don't even know what that is. By the way, you realize that I've never bought a new car in my life, right? I picked my nice BMW based on the features and getting it at an awesome price.

Porsche is known for having a lot of customization options

On the regular Cayenne, the paint-to-sample option costs $13,450 and lets you choose from 93 colors

I don't think you get how I buy shit. I would never, ever pay for "custom colors" or some such nonsense. I'm a huge tech dork that drools over new technology, not some guy that fawns over expensive watches. I wear a Samsung Galaxy Watch and have 0 mechanical watches. For the BMW it was white with black rims because that was the best deal. My Tesla is black because ... it was the best deal. I don't belong to a country club or any other see and be seen bs. I buy nice cars because I like nice cars.

Let me clarify: we have 2 cars in our family. That is total. Wife daily commutes, I don't. She takes the Tesla and if I go somewhere during the day I drive the prole Ford. The only places I'll go is somewhere to walk the dog or run an errand. And yes, the Tesla now has various scratches and dings as a result.
