Now to what extent is it describing "real" physics? On the one hand it corresponds bautifully with experiment which is physics only real test. but on the other hand we only ever test the universe through our own apparatus, meaning we are jsut describing how the universe behaves when poked by apes using ape built instruments. so basically its not describing "the thing in itself" but the echo of our prodding. sort of like trying to understand "the nature of a cat" by pulling its tail and measuring how loud it yowls.
