BUT i think the response is that we're not machines. we're different from boeing planes. we're different from every other species that god created. god created us in the image of himself, and gave us free will -- which makes us unlike machines or dogs or insects or any other creature. he intentionally made us with an evil inclination.
i guess that begs the question of why would he bother to create us with free will -- where we have this constant battle between our good inclination and our evil inclination. i dunno. because he wants us to overcome our evil inclination and become perfect like him? tough stuff... |
