i did a case for him just before i left BH. the DC police dept had a big data breach and their union filed a grievance over it, and i handled that for them. he was a nice guy, never figured he'd be a jeff bezos-like dude with an "alive girl." glad he's happy but LJL at this all around.
he went from BH to nixon peabody to fisher phillips in the course of 3 years. kinda bizarre. |

they woke up in the late 80s and decided they wanted to run with the big boys. they have failed. i enjoyed my time there and i have regrets about leaving sometimes, but they barely qualify as biglaw. they pay market to first years in the major markets, but comp after that sucks ass. they should have just embraced being a REGIONAL POWERHOUSE with outposts in ny/dc/la but that's not what they did. |
