*admirable oops
It's all dumb normie women and the type of men who wore shorts in the shower after gym class and got nosebleeds a lot and tended to cry easily & were bad at sports. Fear is the only way they can feel the adrenaline rush a normal man gets from excelling IRL and taking risks or working through their backlog. Autistic type women (which I prefer) don't care for horror movies either.
I work in film & talked to a zoomer male with chipotle bag doodle tattoos everywhere who gushed about "Weapons". I said It looks sorta gay to me pal. He rents a studio apartment lol.

Completely agreed, people who like "horror" are all deeply mentally ill and disturbed
I made a thread about this a couple years ago and got attacked by MPA and OYT tp

they can be alright
i haven't watched one in a few years and don't really miss it but from a technical perspective they're often interesting enough to appreciate on the merits of the stripped away work with the medium
practical effects making a comeback happened first in the horror genre. the limited budgets mean that creatives excel with the format. sam raimi would've never done all that he did without starting off with the cheap schlock first
