I also remember an interview with Macauley Culkin years ago where he was asked about "sleepovers in Michael's bedroom" and Culkin was like "people assume his room is like their room...his room is basically as big as a house. Nothing ever happened. Stop lying."
Obviously MJ did some weird stuff, but it always struck me that he was trying to protect other child stars from the predators in the industry given how fucked up his own childhood was.
