IIRC you have kid(s) which means that you should plan to die holding all of that BTC and pass it on to them. BTC will literally only continue to go up indefinitely and by design it is the most perfectly anti-inflationary financial commodity every devised by humanity. It's really an incredible multi-generational wealth building / preserving investment vehicle, so don't even think of it like you think of holding stonks or bonds or whatever. It's already "too big to fail," and it's a truly unique instrument -- even physical gold is not really a good analog, because there's always a possibility we might find a bunch more gold in the Earth. There will never be more than 21 million BTCs, no matter what happens. Period. Frankly, as long as you're otherwise leaving your kids a nice fat estate, you should try to put the BTC in some sort of fancy trust to prevent them from directly selling it, either. They probably won't appreciate just how stupid a move they would be until they're MUCH older and have the bunch of real-world life experience under their belts, and if you can find a way to preserve it on down the line to your grandkids, they will be sitting on the equivalent of an absolutely insane fortune and they will be 100% set for life from your BTC alone even if your kids fuck everything else up and squander all they've got.

SOL probably has much more short / medium term upside, so it's good to hold for that reason -- but it's also far less of a sure thing in the long run. It could legitimately go to zero on a long time scale, and don't kid yourself by thinking otherwise. IMO you should sit down and set sells at various price points so that you're not tempted to hold it longer than you should. (Having said that, never go all out on any crypto investment -- always keep a suicide stack just in case you ended up being far too conservative in your hopes and wishes and then it does a true moonshot on the back end.) When you do sell SOL, reinvest the profits in BTC and hold that BTC forever.

Also IMO if you're holding SOL, there's no reason you shouldn't also be holding some ETH.
