He was a mechanical engineering professor at a well known university. He went to MIT after me and we were involved in a start up together. He was a super smart guy who never saw a B. He died one night in his sleep at the age of 40. An autopsy and toxicology study failed to reveal a cause of death. In the dream he and I were talking as we usually did, and I asked him what it was like where he was. He told me that it was hard to describe but that "Mathematics was not very useful here."
