Date: January 28th, 2026 2:16 PM Author: dupa Junior year of college kind of sucked (2004/2005) for me. Living situation fell apart just before the start of the school year and my friend and I had to scramble to find an apartment which was like 15 minutes off campus and not near anything.
He almost immediately moved his gf in who was this completely insufferable hippie who smelled like shit. She didn't even go to our school and contributed nothing. I went along with it at first because i didn't really know her. Ultimately, it killed my relationship with the roommate who was up until then my closest friend in college.
I felt really isolated during that year. Going to class sucked and coming home was always tense and unpleasant. I was just in a funk and even the parties I went to just felt stale and joyless. Easily my least enjoyable year of college and probably adulthood. |
