He didnt just manage to be president twice, which was all he really proposed to do in 2015. He is reshaping the entire federal government, slowly but incrementally changing the demographics of the US, re-imagining US cities, and created an entirely new "Republican Party". He's no God Emperor and will have many minor failures, etc.
But he fucking won. Indisuputably. He will die sometime between now and 2030 and will have won. This must be nearly impossible for libs to understand |

And regardless of some Dem squeaking out 271 electoral votes in '28 (which probably wont happen), trump will exit not only as a two term potus (again, all he initially proposed), but as the most consequential figure of the first quarter (maybe more!) of the 20th C. He will stand tall among a handful of the most notable presidents in american history, and clearly will die having been written about, talked about, loved and hated, more than anyone in our era.
This or that bill may pass or fail. His veep may or may not be elected. But he fucking won. He was targeted to fail spectacularly in a dozen ways, and either be a Herman Cain, or a Mitt Romney, or inmate 8939393, or DEAD. And yet he's drinking Diet Coke in the oval office this morning, planning the downfall of enemies. Hillary, Kamala, Comey, et al? Not so much. The BEST outcome among all of trump's enemies will always simply be obama, whose historical note will be "he was black" |
