I had never seen a movie with major stars be so experimental and avant garde, it caused me to dive deep into the themes and meanings and led to me taking more philosophy classes such as Kierkegaard and obviously Heidegger. I eagerly await each new Malick film, although now I find them somewhat repetitive.
It’s not an overstatement to say that film changed my life. |
