Date: October 19th, 2025 9:58 AM Author: Aphrodisiac library It’s not the same budget. ACA subsidies are set to expire and the GoP doesn’t want them. The other big underlying issue is that the admin has made clear they don’t care what budget gets passed, they’re going to use impoundment to refuse funding for things they don’t like anyway. Until the SCOTUS takes up the impoundment cases working their way to them or the admin backs down it’ll be hard to get dems to agree to anything.
