It occasionally bites them in the ass when they have something scheduled and then some big world event happens. Lots of brands got blasted for posting BAU advertising and promotions and stuff when Floyd went down.
Most social media teams now have a big red “STOP” button that can be mashed to hold content across all of their platforms and their webpage’s newsroom. |
