you go into the corner to adjust your boxers and it's on some peevish woman's youtube "EXPOSED" channel for all of time. people need room to live and these technologies of control are not providing that

You can spam your local govt with FOIA requests for random chunks of flock footage and basically DDOS them until they get rid of them

So many rightwingers used to claim they were afraid over government overreach so I’m glad y’all have decided to be honest.

They never cared. They were only worried (because they were told to) that a dem may get into power and control their lives. Now that it’s a republican doing it, they’re all for it

And there won’t be any more dems so problem solved 👍

You don't know many actual conservatives, do you? OP's opinion is not mainstream among conservatives.

You can be afraid of government overreach, but be even more afraid of getting stabbed.

If you are afraid of X and Y, whichever is the more damaging at the moment will take precedence.

This is how we always lose our rights.

For now. If all our liberties were taken away at once there'd rightfully be mass riots, but if you take it inch by inch, make it adaptable, then meh its okay, it's not directly interfering with my life right now. The mass surveillance seen in 1984 was a comment of the time and has gotten significantly worse since then.

I'm not a leftist nor a criminal. I will never happily submit to a surveillance state. The benefits of Flock type systems are outweighed by the impact on civil liberties and the likelihood of abuse.

the “slippery slope” is not a logical fallacy, although i do often find its use by small-government obsessives to be overreaching. this is one instance where i think they’re likely to be proven right in the final analysis.
