When I switched to WFH and she started going in to do an essentially email job, I started doing most of the daily chores. As soon as she leaves for work, I write up a list of chores, put on a podcast, set my phone timer for 45 minutes, and rip through as many chores as fast as possible. If needed I do that again for 30 minutes late in the afternoon.
Her mother came to visit and complimented my wife by saying that our house is now so much cleaner and organized. Her mother didn't realize that I was the one doing nearly all the chores. The wife spent a month fuming, pouting, and saying "I'm not angry" before letting the whole thing explode. |

there are some more major time consuming tasks like vacuuming the house but no one expects this done daily.
lol at all of those houses with heaping piles of clean laundry that you are supposed to rummage through and some magnet indicators on the dishwasher that its clean or dirty jfc |

Date: January 23rd, 2025 9:41 AM Author: Lilac Crotch unloading a dishwasher is a pain imo. but otherwise cr. also i havent folded laundry in years. i either hang it up or if its a tshirt or jeans or whatever i just put the clean clothes in a small pile. if its sheets and bedding stuff you just do the bed, which admittedly is also a pita. towels i guess you fold if theres a ton of them but otherwise put on the rack.
