Date: December 12th, 2019 10:45 AM Author: House-broken weed whacker People mocked the Home Alone aspect which has been done to death, even after Skyfall (Looper, Logan, Avengers, Purge). But the bigger reason that act 3 fails is because it ties the narrative back to Daniel Craig's family history, making it too personal (and making the Bond character uncomfortably vulnerable/sympathetic for a brutal assassin).
Also Judie Dench's death scene was horribly written, overly telegraphed and unaffecting for such an established character. |
