Date: January 8th, 2026 10:42 PM Author: Jared Baumeister If some asswipe at Department of Energy travels to Denver* for a conference, rents a car from Enterprise and smashes it up, Enterprise has to eat the loss. The Government absolutely will not pay for the damage, even if the guy was drunk. They have agreements with all the car rental companies that cover this. A lot of times the car rental company managers don't even know this, and have a hard time believing it. They need some corporate executive to research it.
