"White culture" doesn't mean much of anything to me. There is no "white culture." The modern research university is German culture. The social life around elite East Coast universities is (was) WASP culture. Etc.
You can't really say the same thing about subgroups of blacks for example because where they all came from was lost during the slavery period. SO "black" is just about the best they can do.
But most white people will crow about how they're "25% irish" or whatever.
To the extent something like Asian pride exists, I think it's largely because they're so small of a minority that they kind of have to "group together" to advocate for their interests. If 100M people in the US were Chinese American, I don't think you'd have "Asian pride." If you did, it would be something that didn't include Chinese people. |

They have "culture" in the way that say ... some ancient african tribe has a "culture." It feels mean to minorities to be excluded from the dominant culture so we just pretend it's not "white culture" even though it really is.
