yes AI is going to kill our jerbs eventually, but has there ever been a tech that was rolled out to the general public in such a shitty and unfinished form? i get that's kind of the point, but in 10 years people will be laughing about how we're dinosaurs who wrote briefs using some shitty AI from the mid-2020s that hallucinated law cases.

i cant think of any other tech that was this undeveloped when it was rolled out.

The internet was extremely unstructured when it first started catching on. Eventually people found use cases and point solutions within it which is what's happening with AI right now.

yes it was unstructured, but it didnt work incorrectly. it was just undeveloped.

you couldnt search for jewish teens taking bbc porn. you'd have to hope that jewishteenstakebbc.com was registered and type it in.

Eh, I grew up in an era where virtually every new tech promised great things but then never fucking worked.

Apple quite seriously got the rep it did in the early 00s just because their shit Basically Worked, whereas Windows theoretically "had" all the same shit your computer today has -- videoconferencing, streaming, autoconnecting high-speed wireless, etc. -- it just worked like 8% of the time.

tbf, even in the 80s/90s, apple basically worked, unlike dos/win shit. but dos/win was far less of a pile of shit than mid-2020s AI
