SEATTLE —
A local grocery store manager is facing an internal review after what corporate HR described as "non-participatory behavior" during a company-sponsored appreciation mixer.
"He just stood in the corner holding a plate," said one Zoomer employee. "He didn't even take a bite."
Local HR representative, Tabitha, confirmed a formal evaluation has been scheduled. "Team building is not optional," she said, adjusting a party hat.
The manager's paper plate was later found in the trash, cake untouched and intact, with a sticky note reading "Clause 9.2."
