Once upon a Christmas: Huey, Dooey, and Louie get stuck in a groundhog day situation and learn the valuable life lesson to not be ungrateful shits at Christmas and to appreciate your family.

Max and Goofy show the value of providing for the less fortunate and keeping the belief in Santa alive for as long as possible even when shitheels like Pete tell you it's a load of crap.

Mickey and Minnie are dirt poor and despite wanting to get nice gifts they end up realizing it's the thought that counts.

Fast forward 22 years to Wish Upon a Christmas:

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Cuckoo-loca for some fucking reason are apparently rich as shit now and are spending Christmas Eve on a travelshrew ski trip in the French Alps. The whole plot revolves around them trying to make it back home for their Friendsmas and buying overpriced shit in the ski town's boutique shops all while talking on cell phones and relying on lib approved public transit. Max, the Ducklings, the extended Duck family, and even Mickey's dog are not mentioned once the entire movie. Instead they want to spend Christmas with their "best pals" rather than immediate family.

Pretty much sums up how society has gone to shit.

minnie and daisy are hypercompetitive shrews who secretly hate each other

the ducklings still are entitled brats and it's clear that, even though they have a regular UMC life with Donald, they are actually rich as fuck and will eventually inherit fuck you $$$ from Scrooge and that probably is why they're such shitheads.

Donald just wants to spend Christmas time off sitting on his ass and relaxing with his hot chocolate, but has to deal with naggy shrew bitch daisy making him do thingdoing shit instead. this pisses him off and then all of a sudden he's the asshole. obviously Daisy can't just take the ducklings shopping herself because that would be too much work for her right now.

Max went from a cool chill middle school kid to a socially awkward gangly dork college kid simping for some shorthaired lib bitch he hopes will some day touch his dogdick. he resents his dad for making him turn out that way. many such cases exist.

Mickey verbally and physically abuses his dog because he came into a little $$ since once a Xmas and wants to throw a baller party as a flex to impress his friends (prob Scrooge the most) so he's feeling the pressure.

Goofy is chill but the rest are a bunch of shitbags
