Date: January 4th, 2026 9:24 PM Author: Harsh Hominid the first few weeks I thought of cigarettes all the time, then it gradually tapered off and after a couple of months I no longer had any "urges" but it still took months before I could go a whole day without thinking of cigarettes now a couple of years later the idea of a cigarette is sickening, except very occasionally when I've had a couple of whiskeys I have a flash but that's probably more strong association and memory it's worth it, hardest thing I ever did, but also the best thing I ever did, it sucks being addicted to a chemical, stick at it you will be clear of it before too long, and just chew a lot of chewing gum (not with nicotine, just normal chewing gum) until that happens soon |
