Date: November 20th, 2023 1:17 PM Author: Yapping Henna Dog Poop I walk a little over a mile everyday on my way into the office in the morning and (almost) every day I pass this middle-aged white woman who looks like she's in her late 50s.
She wears her little ear pods and is usually talking to someone on the phone.
When she sees me coming she steps off the sidewalk into the road until she passes me and then steps back onto the sidewalk.
My best guess is that she does this to avoid COVID because I could attack her just as easily in the road as I could on the sidewalk.
She would half-assed say hi without making eye contact so I stopped saying hi to her.
Two times ago I muttered "fucking weird," and the last time I just laughed at her and shook my head as she approached.
The other day she saw me coming, but was at a spot where the space between the sidewalk and the road was abnormally wide. I could see her looking down at the ground and contemplating moving to the road, but thought better of it because maybe that was TOO rude? I audibly laughed as she passed within inches of me on the sidewalk.
I haven't seen her in couple of days. Maybe she changed her route. I was going to whip out my phone and record her today.
