Date: November 17th, 2025 3:00 PM Author: scholarship Sat right behind the defense table. Judge let everyone take a quick bathroom break and the lawyers walked out. The defendant (normal looking skinny black dude in a white collar button down) asked the bailiff “hey mind if I grab my jacket? it’s a little cold” and bailiff said sure.
Defendant grabs the BIGGEST fur pimp coat I’ve ever seen and puts it on and sits back down. The coat was 2-3x his body size. Everyone comes back in and judge is about to call the jury back in and his lawyer turns around like “whoa man you gotta take that coat off theyre gonna think that looks real bad” and they struggle a little and the coat drops down in the crease of the chair right before the first juror stepped through the door. Lawyer looked relieved.
Then every time the lawyer turned around for the rest of the trial, defendant had slipped the coat back on and lawyer would freak out again and make him take it off. They did this 6 or 7 times. At the end defendant was acquitted on all charges and he stood up and put his jacket on and just walked out |
