idk I got tired of all the noise and nuisance of "the Big Apple". there is no reason for me to be in the suburbs so I just split the difference and went rural (rural by CT standards anyway). it was late 2021 and my only chance to get on the "property ladder" iirc.

that said, I'm not claiming it was a particularly enlightened decision. nothing about my existence has ever made any sense imo.

Where I live is not like a typical exurb. The town doesn’t even allow big box or chain establishments. It’s all quaint New England charm mixed with sociopathic NYC rent seeking villains and a healthy dose of extremely retarded Boomers from back when those kind of people could afford homeownership. There are Teslas and celebrities zipping around these backcountry roads, champ.
