according to this article, a guy was sentenced to 8 months in the can for the act of 'groping' depicted here:
apparently if a woman accuses a man of anything in SK, the man is immediately thrown in prison, and any exculpatory evidence is destroyed or ignored. no wonder its birth rates are so pathetic.
there is also a serial killer case on jeju island which was facilitated by lazy cops intentionally labeling missing persons cases as 'closed' despite the cases not being closed at all. |
