wonder what the company is paying for this shitty plan. our premium for 2026 will be $125 biweekly, which amounts to about $3300
PPO. plan has an individual deductible of $3500, individual OOP max of $6500, family deductible of $6750, and family OOP max of $13000

presumably employer is paying some chunk of the premium and the actual cost of the plan is much higher. i dunno tho. the plan is so shitty, i bet we're paying like 80% of the cost. i dunno what's typical in a f500

the funny thing is that the low deductible / high premium plan is so expensive that there's no scenario where that plan is better.
we did the math, knowing we were having a baby this year. it was still better do deal with this shitty $6500 OOP to have a baby than pay high premiums.

This is (a) now normal for F500s, (b) shitty and (c) also costing your employer a bunch of money. Thanks sickly Boomers who refuse to retire and extractive medical establishment! It is our pleasure to subsidize your continued existence!
